How can I juggle a business and a family and still find time for me?!

Today on the Create a Life that is Beautiful Podcast we are hearing from one of my beautiful long-time friends, Kate Myers about what it’s like to juggle a family and a business, all the while finding time for yourself.

Kate is one of my oldest friends from Sydney, Australia. She is a mother of 2 beautiful children, a cake lover & decorator, the Founder of Cake Myers (her online shop & custom cake business) and soon to be Yoga Teacher. Join Kate & I today as we talk juggling a family & business, finding happiness, balance & purpose and dealing with perfectionism, fear & asking for support.

“Since I’ve spent that time for myself I feel like I’m a better version of myself. I can give more of myself to my kids, my family & my friends because I feel more at ease with myself.”

I wanted to get Kate onto the podcast because since I’ve known her she has always been someone who has been excellent at getting things done. Despite her interest in typically more feminine activities, like dancing, creative expression & creating beautiful things, Kate has also always been someone who enjoys structure, planning & routine. Now with my own research & study in this area and the benefit of hindsight, I had a hunch that she would be a great person to talk to about finding balance particularly when it comes to the struggles in juggling a business & a family. P.S. Embrace Your Feminine Essence my signature online course to Embrace Your Feminine Power & Live as the Empowered Woman You Are is now open for enrolment. Check out the details here if you feel called to explore it.

We are also so lucky to hear from Kate about one of her more recent experiences, realising that something was missing from her life and finding that missing piece in yoga.
